If Android stops you
  1. It won’t install, or asks about unknown apps: allow Chrome to install apps — Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → Chrome → Allow. Then tap the download again.
  2. Play Protect warns you: tap More details, then Install anyway. It warns about any app that isn’t from the Play Store.
  3. Nothing opened when it finished: the file is in Downloads — open the Files app (or Chrome ⋮ → Downloads) and tap tradesman.apk.

“App not installed”? Open the old Tradesman once where there’s signal, so any photo still waiting goes up — uninstalling clears what’s kept on the phone. Then uninstall it and install this one. Your record is online — sign in again and link the X5 again.
